I have been in awe of Diana Nyad since I watched her swim from Miami to Cuba, breaking a world record in her sixties. She had every obstacle show up including deadly jellyfish, but she kept trying over and over until she finally completed her mission. Wow! Who would have thought that one day during my book tour, I would board a plane and sitting right next to me would be Diana Nyad! Very few people blow me away- but she is definitely one of them.
